A Weekend Away from the Terminal

Spent two days last weekend volunteering at Isha Gramotsavam, a village sports event they hold every year. Loved every bit of it!

Such a refreshing change from my usual routine honestly. One day I'm debugging Webmentions and TLS certificates, tweaking my website late into the night. Next day, I'm out there helping organize volleyball matches, watching kids and grown-ups alike give it their all on the court.

I really enjoy weeks like this.

They remind me life is so much bigger than whatever's open in my terminal at the moment. Software is something I genuinely love building, don't get me wrong, but it's just one part of life. Sometimes stepping away from the screen for a couple of days is exactly what I need, comes back with a fresh mind after :)
